According to the Times, Alexis Sanchez is frustrated with his spell at Old Trafford so far and is ready to consider making a move. Manchester City owner Al-Mubarak fought hard to bring the former Arsenal winger to the Etihad and he can now reignite his interest given the current situation.
Sanchez has been far from the player that took the Premier League by storm in Arsenal colours. During his time with the Gunners, the Chilean scored a total of 60 league goals in 122 appearances.

But the 29-year-old has been a shadow of himself since making the move to Manchester United in January. The move saw Arsenal bring in Henrikh Mkhitaryan in a swap deal and it seems that the Gunners have got the best out of it.
Sanchez has scored just3 goals in the Premier League for the Red Devils so far, after making a total of 20 appearances. He has scored just 1 goal and provided 2 assists this season and has failed to make an impact under Jose Mourinho. (Stats courtesy – Whoscored)
The Chilean would definitely suit Manchester City’s all-action football style. It’s the kind of style Sanchez thrives in. Though they already possess a plethora of attacking options, Pep Guardiola never seems to be satisfied.
Given Sanchez’s immense control and ability on the ball, he too will drag defenders out of their positions and whip in the crosses as Manchester City love to do. He is known for his dinked crosses into the box and this should see the likes of Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling receive ample chances.
