Speculations has been on Swedish captain ever since he confirmed earlier this month he will be leaving Paris Saint-Germain once his contract expires this summer.
While Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet said this week that the former PSG's front man will link up with his former manager, making the shock claim it would be on a player-coach basis.
During a pre-Euro 2016 Sweden press conference today, Ibrahimovic blow up on his future, revealing talks with Mourinho and 'concrete' offers from the Premier League.
When asked about the Portuguese's reported move to Old Trafford he said he is no doubt the right man to turn around United's fortunes.
"It's a great move. You want action you get Mourinho," he said.
"I believe he is the man to bring them back to the top, yes. Wherever he went he won."
And the Swedish man went on to talk up his admiration for Mourinho, but stopped short of giving a 'guarantee' that he'll be at Old Trafford next season.
"I had a fantastic time with him, when I left Inter with him I said we had a short time together," he added.
"If we will work again I don't know, let's see how it works out. I don't give guarantees.
"I said there are concrete offers from the Premier league, let's see what happens."
And when pressed on the reports linking him with a move to United, he claimed he was still in good shape and has held talks with Mourinho 'every day'.
"I'm only warming up. I had a fantastic season and proved age is just a number. If I want to make it, I'll make it," he added.
"I have spoken with him every day since I left Inter. I have a great relationship with Mourinho. We are in contact and we have been talking for many years.
