Kompany out of Manchester City's Champions League clash against PSG on Tuesday.

The Belgium international Vincent Kompany has been sidelined of Manchester City's Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday evening.

The 30-year-old has been ruled out since City's goalless draw with Dynamo Kyiv on March 15 after suffering a calf tear.

Manuel Pellegrini said, "Vincent Kompany is not 100 per cent fit, which it is not possible for him to play. While Nicolas Otamendi on the other hand picked up an ankle problem in Saturday's 2-1 victory over West Brom but Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed the Argentine is fit to face the French Champion.

Pellegrini's men head into Tuesday's tie at the Etihad Stadium following a 2-2 draw with PSG last week.
