Official: Debuchy joined Bordeaux on loan from Atsenal

Arsenal have loaned their right-back defender Mathieu Drbuchy to Bordeaux until the end of the season.


The 30-year-old has been a surplus to Gunners and unable to break into the Gunners' starting XI, the defender had previously indicated his desire to move away from the Emirates Stadium temporarily to allow him to chase his dream of playing Euro 2016 in his homeland,

The Frenchman has not featured for Gunners since  November's Champions League win over Dynamo Zagreb and had been a target for a number of Premier League strugglers including Sunderland and Aston Villa.
