McClaren call for assistance from injury players

Newcastle United manager Steven McClaren says the club will scrap against relegation may depend on the club's injured players returning to fitness.


The Magpies suffered 3-0 defeat on Wednesday against Everton, which leaves them in 18th place, two points from safety with 14 matches to go, but McClaren said in three or four weeks' time the like of Mbemba, Paul Dummett, Gabriel Obertan, Haidara, Anita, Cisse and Siem de Jong will fit and healthy.
