Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana admits that Red owed their fans a win after their 1-0 Leage Cup semi-final first leg victory against Stoke City on Tuesday.
Ibe scored a potentially crucial away goal for the Reds at the Britannia Stadium, which the side were later left to count the cost of three injuries, sustained by Coutinho, Lovren and Kolo Toure.
Lallana says the win was the better response to Saturday's 2-0 Premier League lost to West Ham, and says his side's performance was "good"
"We owed the fans that performance," Lallana said to Liverpool Echo. "It’s a massive win for us.
