Hazard sidelined with injury after 15 minutes against Crystal Palace

Hazard played only 15 minutes in Blues's clash with Crystal Palace on Sunday, having pulled out of the game with injury and being substituted with Pedro.


The 24 years old started at Selhurst Park on Sunday but looked to be struggling with a muscle injury for some minutes before he raised alert to the bench that he wanted to come off.

The Blues have since revealed Hazard twitched his groin after taking a shot minutes before.

The extent of the injury is still to be determined, but the news will come as a blow to newly-installed manager Guus Hiddink, who is now left with Diego Costa as the only fit and reliable option upfront as 2016 kicks off with the Blues looking to climb back up the Premier League table.
