The Toffees Are Showing Interest In Cardiff City Goalkeeper David Marshall


The Toffees are interested in signing David Marshall from Cardiff City in the January transfer window, according to The Mirror.

It has been reported by the British newspaper that Everton want to recruit the goalkeeper as a replacement for Tim Howard.

Howard has been on the books of the Merseyside outfit for almost a decade. The shot stopper who joined the Toffees on loan from Manchester United for the 2006-07 season and thereafter made the move permanent, as reported by BBC Sport at the time.
Tim Howard is the first-choice goalkeeper at the Toffees at the moment, but the 36-year-old has made mistakes this season and fans are not happy with his performance

Marshall has been on the books of Cardiff since 2009 and has a contract until June 2018.

“Marshall is under contract at Cardiff until the summer of 2018, having signed a four-and-a-half-year deal in February 2014,“However, he has Premier League ambitions, something the Welsh club cannot currently match.”
