chelsea just signed Ivanovic's replacement,Wallace Oliveira

Daily Star reveals that Blues have sanction a deal that will see their changeable defender Wallace Oliveira Dos Santos moved from Carpi to another loan spell in Gremio.

Oliveira joined Carpi in the summer of last year on a season long-loan deal but has been largely reduced to a fringe player for the newly promoted Seria A outfit. He has featured six times in the Seria A for the club but five of his appearances were from the bench.
He is expected to be with Brazilian club Gremio for the next 18months. The Blues will be expected to pay his wages; this follows from the agreement reached between Chelsea and Gremio.
The deal was confirmed by the Sporting director of Gremio Rui Costa who said:
“We have a lot of ongoing negotiations,” Costa said. “Sometimes you [the press] discover, others have managed to maintain secrecy.
“Maybe we can announce the Wallace deal and yet another player on Wednesday.”
The Brazilian international joined Chelsea from Fluminense in the January of 2013 but was unable to secure a work permit and was loaned to Inter Milan immediately. He was subsequently loaned to Vitesse before the last switch to Carpi. He joins the youngsters that are currently on loan. We hope he develops into a world class player.
He can play across any position on in the defence line but his favorite position is at right back. He has been tipped to replace Ivanovic in the long-run.
