Two late goals from newly crown king of African Best Footballer of the year, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were enough for Borussia Dortmund to see off Ingolstadtin the Bundesliga on Saturday.
It was Mats Hummels at the centre of a narrow escape for Thomas Tuchel's men when, under pressure from Dario Lezcano, he accidentally played a lobbed backpass over the head of his own goalkeeper and into the net - but, moments later, the goal was disallowed for a foul on Hummels that Ingolstadt argued happened after the ball had left his feet.
Aubameyang pick up on Lukasz Piszczek's cross to nod home with 13 minutes to go, but moment later the striker then followed up with a second in the closing stages to put away any hopes of a revival for Ingolstadt, firing low into the bottom corner.
